Campanula garganica 'Major', in 9cm pots.
Campanula garganica 'Major', commonly known as Adriatic bellflower 'Major', is a low-growing, evergreen perennial native to the Gargano Peninsula in Italy. This charming cultivar forms dense, spreading mats of small, heart-shaped green leaves, reaching about 4-6 inches (10-15 cm) in height. In late spring to early summer, it produces an abundance of upward-facing, star-shaped flowers in a vibrant violet-blue hue, each with a slightly flared bell shape. Thriving in well-drained soils, it prefers full sun to partial shade and is ideal for rock gardens, walls, or as a ground cover. Hardy and drought-tolerant once established, 'Major' adds a splash of colour and delicate texture to any landscape.
